CLIMATE

ARUSHA
The weather in Arusha is generally pleasant with temperatures moderated by the town's altitude. It can rain most any time, but chances are higher in the months of April, May, June, November and December.

It can be quite chilly in Arusha between April and September.

DAR ES SALAAM
At sea level, Dar es Salaam is often hazy, hot and humid. As a port city, it does enjoy some breeze off the sea, but not much. In the months of January and February, temperatures can easily exceed 40 degrees Celcius.

NORTHERN SAFARI CIRCUIT
You should find comfortable temperatures in the Northern Safari Circuit. The rim of the Ngorongoro Crater will be cool if not cold. Mount Kilimanjaro gets well below freezing with blizzard conditions at times and proper preperation is required before climbing to ensure you have the right clothes.

SOUTHERN SAFARI CIRCUIT
The Selous, Ruaha and surrounding area become very hot and humid during October through March.
