STONE TOWN
The weather in the Stone Town area can be a bit warm. There are sea breezes to keep temps down, but the narrow streets can obstruct the breeze. You will find that many stores close in the afternoon and reopen in the evening when it is cooler. It can rain most any time, but chances are higher in the months of April, May, June, November and December.

BEACH AREAS
The beach can get warm and humid, but sea breezes are pretty constant and offer relief to the heat. Do not underestimate the power of the equatorial sun.
